Engineering Award Recipients

ASME Student Section:

  • Winners of the regional Ingersoll Rand Competition 12 of the last 13 years (competition judges the overall activity of the Student Section)
  • 3rd in 1999 and 4th in 2001 in national Ingersoll Rand Competition (this competition was started in 1999)

SAE Aero Design Team

  • Since 1995, have registered 7 first-place finishes along with a second-place and a third-place finish out of 13 regular-class competitions entered.
  • Since 1995, have registered 4 first-place finishes along with 3 second-place finishes out of 9 open-class competitions entered.
SAE Supermileage Team
  • Since 1993 have registered a third-place finish, two sixth-place, and a ninth place finish out of eight competitions entered
